Fundraising
Onslow St Audrey’s School prides itself not only on academic success, but also on creating a school ethos with relationships and community at its heart. Through our charity provision we strive to strengthen and support our schools’ values and instill them into our students. We actively encourage all students to get involved in fundraising activities. Our students diligently apply themselves to helping less fortunate people and embrace each challenge with enormous enthusiasm.
Charites of the Year 2022/23
Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) is an international centre of excellence in child healthcare. Together with our research partner, the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, we host the UK’s only paediatric National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Biomedical Research Centre (BRC). Since its formation in 1852, the hospital has been dedicated to children’s healthcare and to finding new and better ways to treat childhood illnesses.
UNICEF works in the world’s toughest places to reach the most disadvantaged children and adolescents – and to protect the rights of every child, everywhere. Across more than 190 countries and territories, we do whatever it takes to help children survive, thrive and fulfill their potential, from early childhood through adolescence.
We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
Other Charities
Every year we stock a selection of poppy products and hold a remembrance service for all of the staff and students in support of the Royal British Legion. We also raise funds for other worthwhile causes by holding events for example, non uniform days and bake sales.
