Curriculum Overview 2015/2016
The Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Travel and Tourism aims to provide the skills to work in the tourist industry. The course is studied over two years and is equivalent to one A level if completing 90 credits or two A levels if completing 120 credits.
The course topics include amongst others: the Business of Travel and Tourism, UK as a Destination, Customer Service in Travel and Tourism, Short-Haul and Long-Haul Destinations, Airfares and Ticketing.
The course gives learners the opportunity to develop communication, problem solving, ICT and leadership skills.
